Since we covered the MAJOR CURRENCY in our last blog, now its time to look at CROSSES. Currency pairs that do not involve the U.S Dollar are called CROSSES.
Some of the most actively traded CROSSES are:
1. EURJPY (Euro to Japanese Yen)
2. NZDJPY (New Zealand Dollar to Japanese Yen)
3. GBPJPY (British Pound to Japanese Yen)
4. EURGBP (Euro to British Pound)
5. EURCHF (Euro to Swiss Franc)
6. AUDJPY (Australian Dollar to Japanese Yen)
Just like MAJORS, CROSSES share certain characteristics that differentiate them from other groups of currency pairs on the forex market. Here are some characteristics that give CROSSES wider spreads and make them riskier to trade than the MAJORS.
There's one more group of currency pairs to cover, so see you on the next blog when we discuss about EXOTICS. God Bless and Stay Tune! :-)
